What are the other types of review?

In 2019, Sutton et al identified 48 types ​of evidence synthesis review. They include: 

  • Integrative review – integrates preclinical and clinical studies together ​
  • EPPI-Centre Review - Mixed method of effectiveness and qualitative ​
  • Systematised review – narrative review with a few systematic features​
