What is EndNote?

Endnote library class

EndNote is a software that assists in organising references, such as books, journal articles and web pages. Use EndNote to insert and format references in a Word document, using various citation styles (eg: APA 7th, Vancouver).

It is compatible with Windows 10 and Mac 10.14 or later. EndNote is available on all computers at each of the hospital libraries

NSLHD staff: Log into your Springboard account (if you have not already registered, complete the sign-up form using your Stafflink ID and password) to request EndNote for personal use (Request a Service > EndNote personal installation).

EndNote provides additional materials and support for EndNote Online.

  3. Provide the computer name (found on the top right-hand corner of the desktop) of the PCs that are to have EndNote installed. Multiple PCs/laptops can be installed at the same time.

EndNote will be installed remotely and will appear in the Start menu after installation. Check with Statewide Service Desk if it is not available after 2 weeks.
